Medical Form:
Completed medical form is required before your son can board the bus. Please bring it the first day of camp.

TIPS
If you’re planning on having your son attend day camp this summer, here are some helpful tips to keep in mind.

  • Medical Form must be completed and turned in before your son will be allowed to board the bus.
  • The bus will board at 7:30 a.m. each morning at Kinnikinnick School in Roscoe. The bus leaves promptly at 8:00 a.m. We will have an attendance sheet to check as each boy gets on the bus to make sure all are present but will not be able to wait indefinitely for latecomers.
  • The bus returns at 4:15 - 4:30 p.m. each day to Kinnikinnick School. Please pick up your child promptly.
  • We are required to provide chaperones for each day of camp. Therefore, if your son attends camp, we ask that a parent or other adult signs up to chaperone at least one day. You may go more than one day. Remember that this is your way to share the experience with your son and will certainly be a great time. We will need two or three parents to ride the bus with the kids; others may drive themselves if they’d like. No siblings please. Grandparents or family friends are great chaperones, too.
  • Campers will have a chance to visit the Trading Post at times (based on scheduling). The Trading Post has gifts as well as snacks available for purchase. You may send money in your son’s backpack if you’d like since he will be able to purchase refreshments (ice cream bars, etc.). Your son will be responsible for his own money.
  • Camp operates rain or shine so make sure your son is dressed appropriately. Make sure name and pack number(Pack 620) are labeled on items he is carrying in his backpack. Apply sunscreen and/ or bug spray at home each morning. Hats are a good idea to prevent sunburn. GOOD WALKING SHOES are a MUST. Water bottle is a good idea; have your son carry it in his backpack.

What to bring:

  • Medical form with any necessary medications in original containers with instructions.
  • Jacket/sweatshirt
  • Swim trunks and towel (goggles, etc. if you would like them)
  • Rain gear
  • Coin purse/wallet
  • Water bottle
  • Camera (optional….a good idea is the disposable type since we can not be responsible for lost items)
  • Backpack
  • Sack lunch (milk is provided at no charge), labeled
